Currently, Zambia is facing countrywide load-shedding which started earlier this year and was later on announced by Zesco Ltd to have daily load shedding on 1st June 2019. The load shedding has worsened which has made certain businesses that rely on electricity to fall apart.
Chef 187 recently released “Bon Appetit” album which is currently making trends on social media. The album was released on 20th September 2019. It comprise of 23 songs and can be purchased at only K89 on mvesesani.
Unofficial twitter account with the username “Zesco Explains It” tweeted “We deserve special recognition for the success of @Chefy187‘s album. He had a lot of time to think about the bars during 8 hours of load shedding. Besides as a chef he knows that everything prepared on a mbaula tastes better“.

Chef 187 responded to this tweet. He says the album “Bon Appetit” was supposed to be released this January if it wasn’t for the load shedding. He says almost every producer started saying there’s no power at their joint.
