On 27th September 2020, Zambia lost a great musical artist by the name of Daev, sometimes referred to as Daev Zambia. He remains to be one of the best musical artist Zambia has ever had. One of his breakthrough songs was “Nimayewa” which featured T-Sean in the year 2017, with special appearances on hit songs like “Ma Years” by Chef 187 & “Lituation” by Slapdee.
After the release of his last song “Moonlight“, Daev Zambia announced on an interview that he had album which he had completed. He also announced his album name as “God, Family, Music“. The album was supposed to be released early last year (2020), but delayed due to the Covid19 outbreak. He once said that some of his songs on the album were more than 3 months old. See tweet below.
Some of the names of artists on his album are his label mate & friend – Bobby East, F Jay & Natasha Chansa. Production of some of the songs are done by Clerk Onit ,Uptown Beats, Stash and Fumbani.
Some people have been wondering if the album will ever be released and if it will be released this year. From our side, we can confirm with you the album is there, and it will be released but we however cant guarantee you it will be released this year. We urge all XYZ Entertainments fans & all other fans he had to be patient with the XYZ Entertainments as they are looking at an appropriate time for the album release.
