Towela Kaira Faces A Copyright Claim On Her New Music Video

Nexus Music Entertainment signed music artist – Towela Kaira last month released a brand new song tagged “Maria” which is currently one of the songs trending on TikTok as well as on the streets. The song has a music video which is shot by Lanzee Cooper. The music video received a copyright claim immediately after it was uploaded on her Youtube channel. What does this copyright claim mean? This means that some of the sound used in her song was taken from another song or any other sound online which is not hers. We (ilovezedmusic.om) tried to checkout the authenticity of this copyright claim. We found out that in the music video, the first 14 seconds were taken from a sound effect by a music production company known as Epicomposer. Epicomposer is a music production blog centered around trailer music, cinematic music, and cinematic sound design.

This also means that Towela Kaira’s song “Maira” didnt actually have issues with the audio but the intro on her video had copyright issues. Checkout the first 14 seconds on each of the two videos below and see that they contain the exact sound.
