Zambia’s long-standing consistent and hardcore hip hop male rapper and songwriter – Dizmo, whose real name is Ephraim Kasonde, and is also referred to as Kamufana Kandalama, and is rumored to soon create his own record label called Ba Nonachongo, started his music as early as Eleven (11) years old, until he was later on noticed by another Zambian top notch rapper, songwriter and record producer – Jae Cash, who later on signed Dizmo to his record label called Apa ili So Entertainment. The name “Dizmo” came about after most of his mates used to call him “Diz”, therefore upon thinking of making a unique stage name, he only turned it to Dizmo.
Ephraim Kasonde got most of his inspiration and passion for music from the neighborhood he grew up in, and that can be noticed in most of his songs and the message he relays. One of his top hit songs is “Life” which featured his record label signer – Jae Cash, he further kept launching hit songs with one of his most recent hit singles titled “Judgement Day”.
