Who Is Pretty B?
Pretty B whose real names are Ruth Banda is a Zambian female artist a rapper and song writer based on the Copperbelt Province in Lunshya. She is well 
regarded as one the best Zambian fresh artist with a unique touch to in the Zambian music industry. She was born on 31st January, 2001 in Lusaka. She was raised by a single mom whose names are Patricia Mukuba. Her father (Hyden Banda) died when she was 6 years old.
When Did Pretty B Start Music?
Pretty B started her music career at the age of 9 and did her first music recording at the age of 13 years. She is under the record label Extreme Records which is in Matero Township, Lusaka. So far she has worked & featured artists like Kabaamba, Ivano & Young Beats.
She Writes: ”The love made me boss, Music brings a lot of people together just imagine life without music, Music is a language spoken by different types of people worldwide. Music is also a remedy to relief of pain. At least that’s what it does to me even when am mad lol I feel happy“.
Who Is Her Music Inspiration?
Pretty B’s music inspiration in Zambia is Brisky & Bombshell. She says “Ba Brisky Bala fresher although she’s my inspiration” which can be translated as 
she’s been left on seen while the receitps are active on WhatsApp. She also discloses her other music inspiration is Cleo Ice Queen though she doesn’t like her that much.
Pretty B’s music inspiration in South Africa & USA is Fifi Coopee & Def Loaf respectively. Her manager is Sq Beats & Cash Money.
What Are Her Future Plans & Challenges?
Pretty B would like to work with singer – T low as she adores him too much. She would also like to work with Alpha Entertainment artist – Macky 2 as well as her inspiration – Brisky if possible.
The challenge she used to face was not having support but she now has it fully. She gets support from people like Sq Beats her producer, Cash Money, Dj Sony Zambia and many more. Her current challenge is her mother who she claims she doesn’t believe in her music but she’s working so hard to also prove to her she can make it in music.
