Alpha Entertainments rapper – Macky 2 and one of social media’s public figure – Simon Mwewa Lane just got into a critical argument. This was when Simon Mwewa Lane published a post on his Facebook page which said there is no single Zambian artist that is worth being bought $30,000 in exchange for his silence. If they are to be bought, only a K3,000 can do. See post below.

$30,000 is equivalent to 545,478.30 Zambian Kwacha. This is definitely a large sum of money but the main question that came to peoples mind is do artist make more money than this?. If yes then its very much possible some Zambian artists can be bought for $30,000 in exchange for their silence [Our Opinion].

So after Simone Mwewa Lane posted that statement, Shortly Macky 2 responded to his statement, he said Mr Simon Mwewa Lane should mind the way he talks about musicians. See post below.

[Our Opinion] Most Zambian families know that professionals like Accountants, Doctors etc earn more money than artists, However we may differ with this statement because some Zambian artists earn more money than these professionals. For example artists like Bobby East once disclosed of making $10,000 in the year 2019 but failed to get an international feature because of their social handles which didn’t have good numbers..
