Chile One Mr Zambia, has delighted followers with his new campaign song, “Alebomba Umuntu,” which comes as a surprise after rival Yo Maps released a political song, which attracted mixed reactions, in support of the UPND, Zambia’s current ruling government. Chile One is also releasing his song supporting the current UPND under President Hakainde Hichilema (HH).
Some may be tempted to view this political, but when people view music as a business, artists create influence to survive and can garner a crowd. Chile One’s new song isn’t really a political song but did so to advise his followers against being upset as a musician is doing a work project and advise fans against judging musicians for participating in campaign related projects.
