Mr Warren – Nyuu 2026 ft Dj Onga
Mr. Warren collaborates with DJ Onga for the release of the political anthem “Nyuu 2026.” The word Nyuu – a new slang form of the word “new” – is a strong feature of the record’s message. In this song, Mr. Warren gives voice to the frustrations that many Zambians are currently facing, such as, poverty, the high cost of living, loadshedding; the repeated broken promises and the notion that they were being ignored.
With the country headed toward the very important August 2026 General Elections, Mr. Warren calls for change- a “new” leadership, a “new” direction, “Nyuu” change. The song expresses growing frustrations and the need for public to be rid of the ruling UPND under President HH. This follows closely behind his last release in March, “Lonely” which featured Dizmo and Rox Kelly, thereby showing his ongoing commitment to music that gives conscious and intentional messages.
