Abel Chungu Reveals Why He Didn’t Quit, Also Reveals His Next International Feature.

Before we go into the main content, let’s know who Abel Chungu is briefly. Abel Chungu Musuka was born in Lusaka Zambia in 1985. He is the son of a former Government Minister and Ambassador Otema Musuka and Georgina Musuka. He is an artist who does mainly Gospel Songs. His recent single is titled Extra Time and was produced by KB.

Yesterday, Abel Chungu had an interview which was hosted by Dj Showstar. During the interview, Abel Chungu addressed so many issues.

In the opening of the interview, both Dj Showstar & Abel Chungu both joke. Abel tells Dj Showstar to stop chasing his guestsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Dj showstar then says when you start something good and it doesnt end up well, the Devil 😈 is happy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Abel Chungu then proceeds explaining why he didn’t quit Music. He says when he started doing music, he didn’t do it for fame but only wanted to deliver the messages through music. Sadly this wasn’t what turned out, only some individuals (fans) got his main concept on the songs. When he announced he quited music, most music fans told their stories how they loved his music and this was one main reason why he decided to get back in the music.

Then he talks of his tours and how he met Sauti Sol who are going to be his next international feature. Sauti Sol is a Kenyan afro-pop band formed in Nairobi by vocalists Bien-AimΓ© Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005. Initially an a cappella group, guitarist Polycarp Otieno joined before they named themselves Sauti.

Abel Chungu then explains why christian artists aren’t making love songs which is what he is doing. He says most artists who do love songs talk about sex. He then says he can do love songs taking about Gender Based Violence.

He also announces when he will release his next album which will be in November.
